Rachel loves to hula! Not only does she enjoy dancing, but also telling stories with her hands. When she's not practicing hula, Rachel loves to help her mom with cooking. She especially likes to make SPAM Musubi. Rachel is smart. Her favorite subject at school is math. She likes it because just like hula, it's rewarding when you get it right!
All five girls have been dancing hula together since the age of seven. They are truly sisters. They especially like performing at church to praise songs. When they aren’t peforming hula together, you can often find them at the beach playing volleyball or at somone’s house baking chocolate chip haupia cookies with sprinkles.
Sweet and cute! Tyla is passionate about hula. She loves spendng time with her family - especially when they sing together. If she’s not doing hula she is surfing. She gets the hiccups when she laughs and likes to collect stickers.
The baby of the family, Kimi, has a very bubbly personality! She likes to chat with her friends online and can never stop laughing. She loves shopping for accessories just like her mom. More importantly, she loves to help others and express her compassion through hula!
Tyla knows that hula is not just a dance but a story. Here, Tyla tells the story of dancing hula for Jesus. It is His story that needs to be told and it is because of His story that Tyla dances hula.
