Everyone thinks Malia is the nicest person they have ever met! Malia loves to encourage others. Her favorite thing to do other than dancing hula is shopping. On hot days, she loves to get rainbow shave ice with azuki beans and vanilla ice cream. She also likes to volunteer her time and has a heart for helping the elderly.

Kimo lives on the Big Island and enjoys the countryside. He particularly loves taking care of all the animals. Kimo is energetic and enjoys caring for the earth! He wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up. His favorite food is macadamia nut pancakes with guava syrup.

Born on Molokai, Akemi moved to Tokyo with her family. She brought her love for hula to Japan. She comes back every summer to Molokai to visit her cousins. Akemi is a very caring person. In her free time, she loves to paint and draw. She has designed a few murals. She really likes mochi with mango ice cream.

The older brother to Akemi. He is protective of his little sister, but spoils her too. He loves to play his uke and sing songs about “good times” in Hawaii. When he is not playing his uke, he likes to play baseball and hang out with his friends. He loves his kalua pork and taro mashed potatoes. Yum!
